Wheel

Last sunday I've started a new project, which involves a bicycle wheel mounted on a wooden base(yes,I know that doesn't sound very interesting, but it is just the start). The mounting was,of course, a very easy thing to do.I've added some steel support struts too.
This evening I've been tinkering with some motors,to drive the wheel. Now,that's turning out to be more tricky because the wheel isn't in such a good shape anymore.
First I had a plastic wheel mounted on the bicycle wheel so that it could be powered by a motor with a drivebelt, but that didn't work out good.
Now the motor will be mounted against the bicycle wheel, not unlike how a dynamometer is used with cars.
