One of the 16 tape recorders I got from the Radio and TV design museum in Haarlem(The Netherlands)is a Philips N4416 from the 1970's.Plenty of useful electronic components in here:a nice big 4700 uF capacitor and 7 sliding variable resistors to name just two. Also 3 motors, two of which are the same and two solenoids. Some useful aluminium sheet metal and,of course, screws and spacers. The two wooden side panels could also come in handy in feature projects.
