I always liked them,and I don't mean those modern,humanoid ones.No,the tinplate ones from the 1940's until the 1960's are the real thing for me.For example this one,a Japanese robot from the 1940's.
So,inspired by these vintage treasures I've started to build some.Mine will have some kind of simple electronic circuit in them,a LED flasher or dark detector with cds cell.
